Ranunculus rhomboideus (Prairie Buttercup)

20 (40)cm, Prairie Buttercup makes a basal rosette of broad leaves and long stalked yellow flowers. Native of rich soils in prairies in the northern parts of North America. For any humus rich, well drained, preferably slightly moist soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. V-VI.
