50 (70)cm, Synandrospadix fallax belongs to a genus with two species from Bolivia, Peru and norther Argentina. It makes several large, deeply cut leaves (entire leaves in young specimens) and a showy inflorescence with an apple-green spathe and the yellowish-green spadix fused to it inside. Easily grown in ny rich, well drained soil in full sun. In winter keep dormant corms almost completely dry at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-VII. |
