Phemeranthus rugospermus (Prairie Fameflower)

10 (20)cm, Prairie Fameflower (syn. Talinum rugospermum) is an endangered species with upright stalk crowned by white to pale rose flowers above semi succulent leaves. It is native of sandy to rocky soils in central and southern USA. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny, protected spot. Excellent in the rock garden. VII-VIII.
