Phemeranthus calycinus (Largflower Fameflower)

10 (20)cm, Largflower Fameflower (syn. Talinum calycinum) makes an upright stalk crowned by shoy bright pink flowers above semi succulent, bluish green leaves. It is native of sandy to rocky soils in central and southern USA. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny, protected spot. Excellent in the rock garden. VII-VIII.
