Leucospermum cordifolium (Luisiesboom)

100 (150)cm, Luisiesboom is a medium sized shrub with showy large yellow, orange or red flowers. It is restricted to a small area in the South Western Cape, from the Kogelberg to the Soetanysberg near Bredasdorp. For any humus rich substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 5°C and a good air circulation. V-VII.
