50 (70)cm, is a perennial sage with large, pale yellow flowers with fine brownish spots and aromatic, sticky leaves. Native from south-eastern Europe throughout Asia Minor to Buthan, India, and Pakistan. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. VI-VIII.
