170 (250)cm, an unidentified evergreen woody shrub with slightly pendulous, silvery haired, strongly branching stems with narrow, trifed leaves, axillary and terminal yellow flowers and densely haired seed capsules and fox brown seeds. From valleys in southern Madeira. For any rich, very well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 5°C. V-VI.
