Sorghum dochna var. technicum

200 (300)cm, is a fast growing annual with impressively tall stems crowned by ornamental dark reddish-brown to greyish-brown seeds in dense spikes above long lanceolate leaves. Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in full sun. Sow directly to the ground after the last freezing nights in late spring or early summer. VII-X.
