Tropaeolum polyphyllum (Subalpine Chilean Nasturtium)

20 (40)cm, Subalpine Chilean Nasturtium is a herbaceous perennial with a dense basal rosette of short racemes with orange yellow flowers in dense terminal clusters. For any rich, very well drained, rocky soil in a sunny spot. Protect from winter wetness and give some extra winter protection (e.g. thick dry mulch layer). Alternatively grow in pots, in winter keep dormant bulbs completely dry and frostfree at some 5°C. VI-VII.
