15 (30)cm, African Plantain is an annual species from the Mediterranean and North Africa. It makes branching stems with narrow leaves and terminal inflorscences. Seeds are used in medicine for their said laxative properties. Sow directly to the ground in mid spring. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. VI-VIII.
