Ranunculus lingua (Greater Spearwort)

100 (120)cm, Greater Spearwort is a showy herbaceous perennial with tall, slightly branching stems with narrow lanceolate leaves and wuite large, glossy yellow flowers in summer. It is native of humus rich, wet soils or shallow water alongside ponds and waterstreams in Eurasia. Easily cultivated in any rich, always slightly wet soils. An excellent plant for the border of a pond. V-VIII.
