Rumex scutatus ssp. aetnensis (Mount Etna Sorrel)

25 (35)cm Mount Etna Sorrel is a slightly spreading perennial native of Mount Etna (Sicily, Italy) and bears a rosette of nicely pale bluish-green leaves and reddish-colored branching flower racemes. It is a fully winterhardy species and easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. Perfect for a protected spot in the rock garden.
