Calicotome spinosa ssp. infesta (Thorny Broom)

120 (200)cm, Thorny Broom is a medium tall woody shrub from the western Mediterranean region with strongly spiny, greyish branches and numerous bright yellow flowers. Easily grown in any rich, well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year. In winter keep plants slightly drier at a minimum of some 10°C. V-VI.
