Gardenia thunbergia (South African Gardenia)

140 (200)cm, South African Gardenia makes strongly fragrant, white flowers above evergreen, leathery, dark green shiny foliage. An excellent container plant from the eastern coast of South Africa for any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. In winter reduce watering and keep plants at a minimum of some 10°C. VI-IX.
