An easily grown subtropical species from Argentina, Paraguay and Southern Brazil. For any humus rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. For the frostfree greenhouse or wintergarden. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 10°C. V-IX.
