100 (150)cm, Yellow Spiderflower (syn. Peritoma lutea) is a showy annual with a dense terminal spike of rich lemon-yellow flowers above spirally arranged trifoliate leaves. The Yellow Spiderflower is native of western USA where it ocurrs in rocky mountain sites. For any rich, very well drained soil in full sun. Will self-sow under appropriate conditions. V-VIII.
