Gladiolus stellatus

35 (70)cm, a showy species with fragrant, white to white and pale mauve streaked flowers. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot. Best grown under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or cold wintergarden. During dormancy greatly reduce watering and in winter keep plants at a minimum of some 7°C. V-VI.
