Iris hartwegii (Sierra Iris)

15 (30)cm, Sierra Iris is a dwarf Iris native of California. It has grass like, pale green leaves and pale yellow to cream (rarely deep yellow or lavender blue, cobalt blue in ssp. australis) flowers with rather narrow falls. Easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. VII-VII.
