Thymus comosus (Romanian Tufted Thyme)

15 (20)cm, Romanian Tufted Thyme is a rarely cultivated perennial with elongated, dense rose flower heads and nicely aromatic leaves with a lemon scent. It is native of dryish, rocky spots in mountain in central and western Romania. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny and protected spot. Ideal for the rock garden. VI-VIII.
