Kennedia nigricans (Black Coral Pea)

150 (300)cm, Black Coral Pea is a perennial vigorous climbing plant from western Australia. Kennedia nigricans produces large trifoliate, dark green leaves and showy clusters of bi-colored, purple-black to chocolate and yellow flowers. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot. A very ornamental species for the conservatory or cool wintergarden. Keep plans somewhat drier in winter at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-IX.
