Puya harmsii (Harms' White Puya)

50cm ø, Harms' White Puya is a very ornamental, medium tall Puya species from dry Andean highlands in northwestern Argentina. Puya harmsii makes a compact and very showy, dense, silvery-grey leaf rosette and medium tall racemes with numerous very dark violet blue flowers embedded in reddish bracts. For any rich, very well drained substrate in full sun throughout the year. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 10°C. VI-VIII.
