30 (40)cm, makes large, hanging, cream to rose red, red tuber-like flowers. For any well drained soil with some clay added, full sun. Requires an excellent winter protection (e.g. a thick dry mulch layer). In colder climated better cultivate under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden. During dormancy reduce watering to a minimum. V-VII.
