Arum italicum ssp. italicum (strong checkered)

30 (40)cm, a subspecies from northern Italy, growing in moist woods. Has ornamental silver-speckled, large leaves in late summer and winter. Elegant yellow green spathe of 20cm and yellow spadix. Very attractive bright-orange seed heads on 30cm stems in summer. V.
