70 (130)cm, scrambling perennial with small, rose, dark veined flowers above strongly dissected, pubescent leaves. Native of open spots in woods in the Mediterranean (Sicily and Greece) extending to Turkey, Caucasus, and Iran. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. V.
