Acacia montana

1 (4)m, Mallee Wattle is a small to medium sized woody shrub with narrow, linear, dark green pseudo-leaves and terminally born golden flowers. Native of south-eastern Australia (Eyre Peninsula, Victoria, and Stanthorpe in south-eastern Queensland). Easily grows in any rich, well drained, slightly stony soil. V-VIII.
