Melaleuca fulgens

2 (3)m, Scarlet Honey Myrtle is a medium sized woody shrub with short, narrow, grayish green leaves and dense terminal spikes of scarlet to deep red flowers. It is native of W Australia (South Australia and Northern Territory). For any humus rich, preferably slightly rocky, very well drained soil in a sunny spot. V-VII.
