Romulea tortuosa ssp. tortuosa

10cm, a dwarf species with outstanding, quite large golden flowers with a dark center in this subspecies. A winter green species which is best grown in a rich, well drained, preferably rocky soil in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden. During dormancy in winter keep bulbs drier at a a minimum of some 5°C. III-IV.
