Hydrophyllum appendiculatum (Great Waterleaf)

30 (50)cm, Great Waterleaf is a showy early flowering biannual with deeply dissected leaves and upright stalks with showy sky-blue to lavender-blue flowers in dense clusters. It is native of rich soils in woods in the northern USA. Easily grown in any humus rich, well drained, always slightly moist soil in a partially shaded to sunny spot. III-IV.
