Hovea montana (Alpine Hovea)

30 (50)cm, Alpine Hovea is a short stemmed woody shrub with narrow, dark green, leathery leaves and showy, axillary, bright lilac flowers. It is native of grassy slopes and Eucalyptus woods at high altitudes in New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania (Australia). VI-VII.
