Indigofera australis (Australian Indigo)

150 (250)cm, Australian Indigo is a multi branching, woody subtropical shrub with narrow feathered leaves and showy, terminal spikes of rich rose-purple flowers. Native of woodlands and dryish Eucalyptus forests in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, Western and South Australia. This species is not frost resistant. In winter keep plants drier at a minimum of some 15°C. VI-VIII.
