Trachyspermum ammi (Ajwain)

40cm, Ajwain is a parsley-like plant which probably originates in the Middle East or Eastern North Africa. Seeds have a very strong, thyme-like flavor and are used usually roasted in various dishes especially in Indian cuisine. Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. VI-VIII.
