Iris missouriensis (Rocky Mountain Iris)

50 (80)cm, Rocky Mountain Iris makes showy pale and purplish-blue flowers with darker markings. It is native of rich soils in mountainous and subalpine areas throughout the western USA. Easily cultivated in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. IV-VI.
