Juniperus phoenicea ssp. turbinata (Mediterranean Hollyhock)

2 (5)m, Mediterranean Hollyhock has finely feathered, smooth, dark green leaves and showy maroon red fleshy fruits in winter. Native of sandy soils in the vicinity of the sea. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot throughout the year. Keep plants drier in winter at a minimum of some 10°C. Endures only light frosts in autumn. X-II.
