Moraea fugax

20 (40)cm, makes upright stalks with iris like, scented, pale blue, pale yellow to white flowers. It is native of sandy to rocky soils from Namaqualand to Mossel Bay. Best grown in pots under frostfree conditions in a cool greenhouse or wintergarden with reduced watering and a winter minimum of some 5°C. III-V.
