Trachymene coerulea (Blue Lace Flower)

20 (70)cm, Blue Lace Flower is a showy annual with sky blue to pale lilac dense flower heads above deeply dissected leaves. Native of dryish or sandy soils in shrub lands and grasslands in south western Australia. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot. Sow in early spring under glass at some 20°C. Transplant to the garden after the last freezing nights from end of spring to early summer. VII-VIII.
