Lachenalia orchioides var. orchioides

15 (35)cm, makes one to two lanceolate, plain or dark spotted leaves and purplish blue and yellow flowers. Native from rich soils from Gifberg to Albertinia and Little Karoo. For any rich, well drained substrate in a sunny spot throughout the year. During dormancy and in winter keep drier at a minimum of some 10°C. VI-VIII.
