Oenothera albicaulis (White Stem Evening Primrose)

10 (15)cm, White Stem Evening Primrose makes a basal stemless rosette of broadly serrated leaves and short stalk, quire large pure white flower cups. It is native of dryish rocky soils from central to south western USA and northern Mexico. For any rich, very well drained soil in full sun. Excellent in a protected spot in the rock garden. IV-V.
