It has silvery-green, pubescent oval leaves and pale lavender to sky-blue flower cups. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny, protected spot. Excellent in the rock garden. Seeds from a certified wild collection in Fremont County, Colorado, USA at some 1.650m. VI-VII.
