Melissa officinalis ssp. altissima (Crete Balm)

40 (60)cm, Crete Balm (syn. Melissa romana) is a herbaceous perennial with faintly aromatic, more pubescent leaves than in the nominal form, and which may be used in teas or in fruit salads. It is native of the Mediterranean and is easily grown in any rich, well drained soil in a sunny spot. VI-VIII.
