60 (120)cm, Chinese Giant Salomon's Seal is a rarely cultivated, most ornamental herbaceous, rhizomatous perennial with glossy, elliptic to oblong-lanceolate, rarely falcate leaves on very tall stems and small pendulous yellowish green flowers followed by black berries in late summer and autumn. Native of woods and shaded slopes in China. For any rich, well drained soil in a sunny to partially shaded spot. VI-VII.
